This course is held in the Czech language.
Annotation
The persistent identifier DOI (digital object identifier) is used in science communication to permanently and unambiguously identify objects such as scientific articles or research data sets. The training will explain what this identifier can be used for, how its assignment works, and possible alternatives. The training will also present the existing support for implementing DOIs at the national level in the Czech R&D and innovation environment within the CARDS project. Finally, participants will learn how the DOI will be used in the National Repository, a document repository launched in 2025.
Benefit for participants
Participants will get acquainted with the digital object identifier DOI and get a basic overview of its possible use and allocation process. They will learn about how the implementation of DOI is supported in the Czech Republic and the possible alternatives.
